How to sell BTC?

Step 1.

Register an account with CoinCola. You’ll get a secure web wallet to store and manage your bitcoin. If you have already registered a CoinCola account, skip to the next step.

Step 2.

Ensure your bitcoin balance in your CoinCola OTC wallet matches the amount you want to trade. For more information on depositing assets, see How to deposit cryptocurrency to your wallet?.

Step 3.

Visit the CoinCola OTC page and select ‘SELL’. Click on the search icon to filter advertisements by your preferred currency, location and payment method. A list of advertisements matching your requirements will then be displayed.

Step 4.

Choose an offer from the list of advertisements. We recommend choosing a trader with a high ‘Trust’ score and a large amount of previous trades. Click on the ‘SELL BTC’ button to view more information about the advertisement.

Step 5.

After clicking the ‘SELL BTC’ button, you'll see more information about the offer, including the terms of the trade. Read the terms of trade carefully before submitting a trade request. If the terms of the trade are not to your liking, go back to the previous page and choose another advertisement.

Step 6.

To start the trade, type in the amount of bitcoin you want to sell, or enter how much money you want to sell. Click on the ‘Sell Now’ button and be ready to release your bitcoin once you have received payment. Once the trade has started, your bitcoin will be moved from your CoinCola wallet to the trade escrow.

Step 7.

Once you've sent the trade request, the buyer will send payment as the payment method of your chat negotiation. Once you have confirmed that the payment has been made, you can select ‘Release BTC’. This will send the bitcoin from the trade escrow to the buyer’s wallet and complete the trade. If you don't release your bitcoin assets before the allotted time, the trade will be automatically cancelled.

Note: 
Please make sure that you have received the money into your account as you give to the buyer before releasing your bitcoin. Never release your assets before you have received the payment,Bitcoin transactions are irreversible and transactions may be unrecoverable.
